Co-dependency Bias and the Media

The media needs access - Governments and corporations need to communicate their message. Most media are owned by corporations and in some cases by governments - Corporations fund the media with advertisements - and fund politicians with campaign donations. Society depends on the media for its information, opinions and sense of a consonant worldview - all of which the media is pleased to oblige. A codependency bias is established in which we are all complicit. Several case studies are used to illustrate this model including one where we uncover a much more substantive Martin Luther King Jr.
