Water: The Sacred Relationship

This session introduces participants to the 15 films created by BearPaw Communications and the lesson plans, which are aligend with the Alberta Program of Studies, that are supported by the films. The films feature Aboriginal Elders and Western Scientists as they examine our sacred relationship with water and the delicate balance of life that is currently in danger due to our activities that impact Mother Earth.

Charlene Bearhead

Charlene Bearhead has served as a teacher, principal and superintendent of education both on and off reserve in Alberta and Manitoba. She is currently the Program Manager for Education and Community Reconciliation for Native Counselling Services of Alberta.
