Make Physics fun...at World Waterpark! Experience the Physics in the Waterpark Lab that West Edmonton Mall offers - hands on! During the field trip experience students enjoy the many pools and waterslides of World Waterpark while studying and practicing principles of the Alberta Physics curriculum in a fun, creative way. Lesson plans and answer keys available to teachers. Students will cover these topics: Velocity Acceleration Gravitational potential energy Kinetic energy Force of friction Coefficient of friction Centripetal force Waves: frequency, wavelength, amplitude and velocity This is a full-day pre-registered session. Meet at Door #50 to be guided through the field trip application process by one of the booking coordinators. You must have suitable swimwear. The lab will take approximately 3 hours to complete. Access to the Waterpark is available upon completion of the tour.
