Sexy Beasts: The Genetic Roots of Animal Social Behaviour

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Spice up your teaching of natural selection in Div 3 & 4 Science by introducing your students to the fascinating & funny things animals do. The theory of Natural Selection is introduced in grade nine and is touched upon throughout high school, but natural selection alone cannot explain all the weird and wacky things that animals do to get their genes out into the world. You'll laugh your way through this high-energy multimedia session and leave with new ideas to spice up your Biology classes. Delegates will leave with lesson packages for use on Monday.
